Take away the pain of vets' fees
You naturally want the best for your pet, especially
when it comes to health care. But with no NHS for animals, budgeting for
vets fees can sometimes be a problem.
Now, at last, there is a new way to spread the cost of
your pets future veterinary treatment. Available only from participating
UK vets,
Scallywags Vet Plan is a complete health care plan for your pet. Developed
in consultation with pet owners and practicing vets, it covers virtually all of the
veterinary treatment necessary to keep your pet in the best of health.

 | Identichip fitting
 | Many pet insurance schemes provide compensation to owners
if their pets are lost. We prefer a more positive approach. All pets
registered under the Scallywags scheme are fitted with an Identichip
-a tiny microchip painlessly implanted under the skin which can be
read by vets, animal charities and local authorities. Should your pet
ever stray or be lost, it can be identified and returned without delay. |

Your
vet will advise on the ideal preventative programme to suit your pet, based on
the best treatment available. All you have to do is remember to bring your
pet to the surgery! What
does it cost?
A monthly direct debit payment can include all specified
preventative treatments plus accident and sickness insurance premium. The
monthly cost is based on the fees charged by each vet and so can vary
considerably.
On average you could expect to pay between £9 and £16 per
month for preventative treatment and between £6 (cat) and £11 (dog) per month for
insurance. Click here for full details of our
optional insurance cover
